Directions
From Hook train station
Walk up the station approach road and continue north along Station Road (past the shops) until the center of Hook is reached. Then turn left along London Road (A30, towards Basingstoke) at the mini roundabout. Oaklea Guest House is on the right after about 400 yards.
From M3 Junction 5
If coming from the South (Southampton) direction, take the second exit from the roundabout at the top of the M3 slip. If coming from the North (London) direction, take the fourth exit from the roundabout.
This exit is signposted to Hook via the B3349. Continue north along the B3349 for half a mile. At the roundabout, take the first exit, over the speed bumps. At the mini roundabout at the centre of Hook, take the first exit, the A30 signposted to Basingstoke. After 400 yards, Oaklea Guest House in on the right. Pull into the car park at the front of the house.
From M4 Junction 11
Upon leaving the M4, take the exit signposted to Basingstoke (A33). Continue along the A33 across a roundabout. It is then dual-carriageway. Continue along this dual-carriageway for about 5 miles, then at the roundabout take the first exit. At the next roundabout, take the third exit (counting the exit to Wellington Park). At the next roundabout, continue straight across. Then go through Heckfield, Hound Green and Mattingley. At the roundabout in Hook, take the third exit signposted towards Baskingstoke. This is the A30. Take the second exit at the small roundabout in Hook centre. Oaklea Guest House is on the right after around 400 yards. Pull into the car park at the front of the house.
Oaklea is conveniently located for business and leisure just 5 minutes from junction 5 of the M3.
Hook is a large village that lies between Basingstoke and Hartley Wintney on the A30. Hook railway station is 5 minutes walk away, where a half-hourly service connects to London Waterloo.
